1394 Trade Association wraps up Plugfest

The 1394 Trade Association, which oversees the FireWire connectivity standard, wrapped up its plugfest for 2001 last week. Almost 20 companies, led by Microsoft, Agere Systems, Apple Computer and Sony linked a total of 86 different devices and products equipped with the IEEE 1394 specification. The next Plugfest is scheduled for February 11-13, 2002, in Los Angeles.
