Motley Fool talks Apple retail

The Motley Fool has published a "Fool Plate Special" examining different tactics being exhibited by computer manufacturers in the retail market. The article says that while Dell, Gateway and Apple have similar strategies, they are using contrasting methods. "Apple ... is moving in the opposite direction, gradually opening retail stores across the country... While the differing approaches may seem odd given that these two companies peddle ostensibly similar products -- though one, obviously, is a manufacturer and marketer and the other a straight retailer -- both moves make sense, though neither is without risk."

the article was actually comparing Apple (tne manufacturer and marketer) to Staples (the retailer), not to Dell or Gateway.

    Yo, Pascal,

How about I compare you to a cream of wheat sandwich...?
