Apple Canada forms multimedia center

The Faculté de médecine de l’Université de Montréal and Apple Canada have partnered to create “Apple Centre,” a permanent laboratory devoted to the development of multimedia tutorials on the Mac OS platform, specifically the development, use, and promotion of learning tools in the field of health sciences. The university already has 22 fully equipped problem-based learning rooms that have PowerMac computers. Apple will assist the Faculté de médecine in developing multimedia tools and will provide a server, portable computers for the teaching staff and ten AirPort base stations.

Finally something!
It is nice to finally see some manifestation of Apple in Canada. I live in Ontario and I hate it how everything is Windows here. It seems like only my university (University of Waterloo) knows what they are doing with their Solaris Servers and Mac labs (although they have many Windows labs, too). Now if only we can get the government here of Windows and onto Linux...
