Channel Storm revamps product line

updated 07:35 pm EDT, Wed October 3, 2001

Channel Storm today introduced a revamped product line, including its first sub-$1,000 software solution for live-broadcasting.

Live Channel Lite is its $200 entry-level software-only solution for producing and broadcasting live media over the Internet, supporting multiple live video and audio sources, recorded clips, still images, logos, graphics and text. Live Channel Pro additionally offers unicast and multicast options as well as the synchronization of rich-media presentations with the live broadcast, including PowerPoint slides, photos, graphs, animations, text and interactive elements like forms, chat, and hyperlinks. Version 1.2 of the $1000 application also features the ability to simultaneously record the broadcast and the synchronized web presentations, making the whole experience immediately available for video-on-demand.
