Lee Given writes about new features under OS X: "Apple has delivered on the long promised (Back to System 8.0) Finder Undo. If you accidentally place a file in the wrong place, don't worry, just hit UNDO and it will magically go back to the starting location. This is complementary with the new ability to CUT, COPY and PASTE Finder items, such as files and folders."

    I always thought Cutting a file was a bizarre metaphor. It is a decent function, but the term was misapplied.

    that's a nice feature, but it's far from spring loaded folder. if they added cut, that would have been somehow usefull, but there is more step to do than SLF.
