CreoScitex has introduced ShadowFX, a plug-in for Adobe Acrobat that creates transparent shadows for PDF page elements (text or images). It leverages the transparency capabilities of Acrobat 5.0 to facilitate the creation and placement of shadows directly on top of any page element without obscuring it and provides full control over the color, offset, opacity, and blur radius. Transparent shadows can be used in any PDF workflow that supports PDF 1.4.
