Andy O'Meara has posted another build of the WhiteCap 4.1, his wireframe-based visualization plugin that features more than 130 effects in both windowed and fullscreen mode, a slideshow of effects, control over specific effects, and excellent expandability: "I've also been working with the folks at Panic Inc in regards to Audion for Mac OS X. Audion users will have to wait a couple days until Audion 2.6 is released to be able to run the WhiteCap and G-Force installer."

    Perhaps, but...

    HOW does one install/use GForce? The instructions are non-specific as to how it should be installed/used with iTunes...

    Wait for Audion

    Audion is a far better product, now that SJam for X is lonnnnng gone (though I kept mine, hahahahah). Intend to test whether it really sucks up resources, as C+G claim.

    iTunes?

    The new "smart" installer didn't work for me in OS X 10.1 / iTunes 1.1.2

    Can't find OS X "Library" folder. Weird... because I suerly could... right down there in the root :P

    G Force

    I couldn't get it to work for iTunes. I successfully installed White Cap but no-go with G-Force. I seem to recall (from Sound Jam) liking the latter better.

    I tried changing the type/creator code of the G Force plug to match that of other plugs, but that only stopped iTunes from starting at all :-(

    And I gotta say that somafm.com has the best streaming techno/trance.
