NextComm, Inc. has introduced a technology called Key Hopping that the company claims vastly improves the security of the 802.11b standard (AirPort) used in wireless local area networks. Key Hopping is based on MD5, the same technology used in secure credit card authentication over the wireline Internet.

Not as good as it sounds

It's a proprietary technology that requires software and firmware in both not-yet-released access points (base stations) and enabling cards (PC and PCI cards). Basically, this is a non-event, as it would require replacing all current equipment to use. Further, the IEEE 802.11i committee is working on a security standard which all vendors would agree to and embed, not just a single one with its own ideas.
