Simon Benjamin writes: "The full Mac demo of AvP Gold was released several days ago, and I'm amazed how little coverageI've seen...The ability to move freely on walls and ceilings in order to sneak up on Marines leads to some pretty memorable game play!" MacPlay announced last Friday that Aliens Versus Predator Gold Edition has gone 'GM' ('Gold' or 'Golden Master') and said that the game will be available at major retail outlets beginning later this month.     Well...

    I don't really care if it is about a year too late. The game is so superb and fun! I'm glad that MacPlay decided to finish and produce AvP after it was left in the closet by LogicWare (or is it VaporWare?)

    I give full 5 stars for AvP for Mac!! Already pre-ordered it and you should too! 8)

    well..

    I think what may very well move some boxes is 25 bucks including shipping. That got me to buy.. I wasn't going to.

    Even so, I'm willing to bet ya that it can be found in the 10 bucks remainder bins for winblowz.

    What I'd EALLY want to find out is what was the conversion costs and does MacPlay have to bear that entire burden? I have a sneaky feeling that they didn't.. and that's why they are seemingly selling it so cheaply..

    Single Player fun but...

    Multiplayer seems prone to lag (I'm on a cable modem-have not tried hosting yet). At times I feel like I'm chasing ghosts. Players seems to disappear and reappear a few feet away. Make the chase hard.

    Single player really does seem to capture the fear in the movies.
