Um.. guys... one week ahead of schedule is nothing to party about considering that we are getting the equivalent of Maya 3, when other platforms have been enjoying Maya 4 since June 18th! Why the heck would anybody pay full price for the old version just so they could run it on their mac. Now, I'm a huge mac advocate, but I just don't see these guys selling very many units until they start offering platform equality. No party here, sorry to say.

My first new car, a 1986 Honda Civic CRX, cost as much as Maya does.

$7500 for Maya? Maya has always been overpriced and the OSX version is no different. I'll stick with Animation:Master, Electric Image 2.9.3 and Amapi 4.15, thanks.
