Keyspan ships enhanced USB Serial adapters

Keyspan has announced new versions of its USB PDA Adapter and its High Speed USB Serial Adapter, which offer enhanced performance and a new physical form factor to "make them more convenient to use."

The $40 (revised) Keyspan USB PDA Adapter (USA-19Q) now has the ability to hot sync PDA devices at speeds up to 115 Kbps adds support for Psion organizer (in addition to Palm, HP, Compaq, Casio, and Sharp), and includes a 3-foot detachable USB cable.

Keyspan's $60 High Speed Serial Adapter (USA-19QW), which supports data transfer rates up to 230 Kbps, now includes a 3-foot detachable USB cable and is compatible with a broader range of modems, cameras, PDAs, GPS, cell phones, hand-held scanners, and other serial devices.

Both are available are shipping now with "off-the shelf" support for Mac OS 8/9 and OS X (beta drivers) as well as Linux 2.4, Windows 98, Windows Me and Windows 2000. [site not responding]
