In the wake of Palm's Be buyout, Insignia Solutions has hired Lamar Potts, who previously worked at both Apple and Be as senior vice president of worldwide sales. Interestingly, Potts was the vice president of Apple's MacOS licensing business unit, which was responsible for managing the spread of clones.
