Why is MacNN updating so late in the mornings these days. My morning clicks have been going to MacMinute and (gasp!) MacCentral.
I thought your "news team" was back in working order MacNN...
That's what I was looking for. I want to see the movie!
While I am very happy for Darryl, the bottom line here is, who gives a s***? My kid won 1st prize in his Grade3 writing contest, and he used a Mac to research, does that also rate a mention here?
Now, THIS kid's story would make a great Apple Ad!
I want to see it, too!
Hey Apple, get the rights and STREAM it! Trade him web rights for a new G4 800x2, a Big Cinema Display and Final Cut Pro while you're at it.
The LAST thing NYC needs is another waiter... uh... ACTOR.
My friend and I got a Best Of Show award in the Michigan Student Film & Video Festival using a Mac and Final Cut Pro to do our work.
Some people have bad attitudes (sosumi, O) - can't you give the guy some credit? Go pout in the corner. This small violin is playing a really sad song for you.
I would love to see the film.
May I join in with MY little violin? I don't give a s*** about 3rd graders. So sue me!
Big deal. I got first place in my town's annual underwater basket weaving competition...without even using a mac or final cut pro/imovie!!!
You guys are all just jealous that YOUR kids aren't as cool as Darryl! Give this kid some recognition, he made 3rd place at an INTERNATIONAL film festival, that's a few levels above winning first place in a 3rd grade writing contest (and I bet your 3rd grader's writing SUCKS). In fact, I don't give a rat's a** about any of your stupid kid's or your own achievments.
What it comes down to is that Darryl rocks, and he did so using Apple products, and this is the sort of advertising that makes Apple look COOL! Not some dippy Goldblum spot, but showing real people grooving on Macs.
God what a bunch of negative, whiny b****-asses. You people are who give mac users a bad name. You should all be ashamed of yourselves, and your internet usage should be suspended for 3 days--because you're acting like 3rd graders.

The movie sounds great, but do we get to watch it?
