    Way to go...

Chop that $500 off my resale value. Lol.

This is a very good thing for Apple. I hope it moves a few more PowerBooks. These are great machines. =)

    Nice one apple !

I'm not bothering to say what this price reduction might suggestion, but it has to be a good thing for consumers......might be the final act that persuades me to get one. Just in my price ranges now !

An amazing machine, at an even more amazing price ! woohoo ! Nice one Apple !

    Saw it coming.

As soon as macosrumors said it was unlikely, it became obvious that it would happen. Have those guys ever been right?

    TiBook is fine machine!

I agree with Steve Wozniak when he said at the MacHack conference that he thought the TiBook was the greatest computer ever made.

I wanted one as soon as I held one, but I was on a budget. But now it's just a little bit more than the top-end iBook, which itself is pretty cheap by Wintel standards.

I think I'll be getting me a piece of Titanium!

    7 day price .....

Looking at the back of my recent Apple online purchase, there is a section that say:

Should the Apple Store reduce its price on any shipped product within 7 days of shipment, you may contact Apple........to request a refund or credit of the difference between the price you were charged and the current selling price.

I hope those that bought a Ti this past week take notice!

Yes, you're right, we Apple customers simply love being ripped off, so cn you stop trying to divert us from such pleasure?

Though one ripoff does remain, price reductions haven't happened in any of the worldwide stores, just the US one.
