Sony has introduced its new five megapixel Cyber-shot DSC-F707 digital still camera, which has Carl Zeiss optics, and an advanced automatic flash system, a 5X optical zoom lens with F2.0 aperture, a 1.8-inch LCD screen, and a new eye-level electronic viewfinder as well as NightShot and NightFraming technology for low-lighting environments.
It also features new noise reduction tool and Slow Shutter NR for reducing CCD noise. The $1000 camera ships with a 16MB Memory Stick, a rechargeable InfoLithium M battery, an AC adapter/in-camera charger, an A/V output cable, a USB cable, a shoulder strap and a lens cap. [availability unavailable]
