    100 megs?????!!!!!

    For a 100 megabyte download, this has GOT to be more than just scanner drivers. Is Photoshop LE or something included with it?

    3.5.2?

    Just downloaded and it seems to install 3.5.2!! 134Meg for this?
    There must be some (careless) mistake.

    Please don't suck. . . .

    The past versions of VistaScan have been so full of bugs and crash-prone as to be virtually unusable for me. I hope that this version works.

    My wildest dreams will come true if it works under OS X.

    Wager?

    How long until it's pulled, and we return to version 3.5.x? If they haven't done it already...

    Umax=idiots

    This is the worst company I've ever bought a product from, and that's including Iomega and their click of death. Their drivers are complicated, buggy and bloated, and they never update them. Last I bothered to install a Visascan driver it didn't even work with ColorSync 3.0!!! You suck, Umax!

    v2.4.3 still works great for me.

    As soon as I saw the direction they were taking with v3.0, I decided I'd better stick with what worked.

    Blech.

    I don't know what gave me more trouble... the Umax Astra600S with it's SCSI jumper blocks that kept needing to be shuffled around, or the buggy software. Crash after crash... software never finding the scanner... S-L-O-W scans... etc.

    I bought an Epson Perfection 1240U and I haven't been happier. Now... If only I could configure those hot buttons on the front to launch the apps I wanted them too...
