Macromedia has banner ads on their site? Man, they must really be strapped for cash.

    flash not shockwave

Remember flash and shockwave are different. Don't expect to see shockwave stuff.

    Only for IE...

Of no use to me then, I use mainly OmniWeb (even though it's still slow) and occasionally Opera and iCab, and Mozilla just to see how they progress. But IE? No thanks

    What?!

The flash plugin REQUIRES MS Idiot Exploiter? The previous one works fine in OmniWeb and iCab.

    Requirements are wrong

I run 10.0.3 and the preview version (5.1b1) of Explorer and it works just fine.

    Omniweb Unaffected

Omniweb uses it's own plug-in (which doesn't work correctly) and still works after this upgrade

    Mozilla Rocks!

The plug in works fine in today's 'nightly' build. Went to Macromedia.com to the showcase and all the Flash sites work!
Also, the banners seem to be for non-profit .orgs! Maybe Macromedia is just helping out causes...

Flash on the Mac is still not as fast as on Windows. I think they haven't optimized it fully on the Mac.

I want similar performance on both platforms.
