    Oh well

Nobody seems to be able to design really gorgeous LCDs except for Apple.

    Apple monitors too expens

Apple's monitors are way too expensive. This one has a larger viewable area than Apple's by a bit, and it's about $150 less than Apples. I know, Apple has that cool ADC technology, but all their monitors still need to cost about $200 less across the board to really be feasible.

    You get added value

with Apple. Apple offers a digital signal and color matching capabilities in its displays that are second to none. Not to mention the new displays have an on/off switch right on the display that control the on and off for the computer as well. Granted you can get an IBM 18" LCD for $899. But it won't have these features. And remember there are SVGA-ADC adapters too.

    Re: added value

Apple's displays also have a built-in USB hub, in addition to the ColorSync controls and other stuff mentioned before.

    oh so mature.. NOT

Whoever wrote the message with the huge type is so right.... MacOS... or more properly said, the Mac OS, have no chance to survive.... I am not an English major, but the phrase should say, "The Mac OS has no chance of surviving. What is with the make your time and hahaha. Makes no sense to me to see. People are free to an opinion, but I would like to see this backed up with some kind of facts or reasoning from the person who posted it.

In closing, it showes the actual intelligence of the typical PC geek. Get a life man.... get a Mac with X
