MacPlay launches Web site, BG2 pre-orders

MacPlay has re-launched its official web site, replacing a press release that has comprised the site since the announcement of the MacPlay brand purchase in October 2000. The new site includes details on a $50 pre-order special for Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn for the Mac, which is expected to ship for Classic and Mac OS X in August. As part of the special, users will receive the game with free shipping and a free Baldur's Gate II for Macintosh Collector's Edition Bonus Disc containing promotional art, character portraits, MP3 audio files, concept art, and more.

    eh ive seen much worse

    but yah for a business on the mac platform its kinda funky. i like inside mac games color scheme. works really nice.

    also for baldurs gate 2 i noticed mac zone had baldurs gate 2 advertised for 20 bucks. not sure if its true but it was surprising. maybe they thought it was the expansion for number 1

    the site says

    that you can import your Baldurs Gate character. Uh...how is that possible...last I checked they didn't make Baldurs Gate for the Mac.

    Are you sure that's not the PC version. It's been out for a while on the PC so it may come down to that price.
