    Please

First "Apple, please sell a G3 tower with 3 PCI slots and no monitor for $799" Post.

Seriously, geeks would line up to buy these and run OSX. Please sell them!

If Apple can profit on the iMac at $799, they can surely profit on the same computer with no monitor at $799. Please?

I am happy Apple finally has some NetInfo info out. The only stuff I could find on NetInfo was from the days when NeXt was NeXt and the OS was OpenStep.

It is taking apple time to get its doc in order... oh around march/april Apple was looking for interns to write tech docs... I see they found a few :)

It was somewhat cool back in the NeXT days. These days it's a dinosaur, incompatible with the rest of the world, and frankly completely useless. The only reason we're stuck with this c*** is that it's the brainchild of one of Steve's lieutenants, and the cretin won't let go. It's really amazing how these guys from NeXT are using their newfound relative strength position to attempt to shove their failed technologies down Apple's customer's throats. Frankly, I'm really sick of it. I love the Mac, but this mongrel they're trying to get us to buy into is a real piece of c***. It's not only a hodgepodge collection of irrelevant technologies, it's also full of bugs and slow as molasses. Enough already.

NetInfo needs work, but Apple has need enterprise level directory services for a long time. You cannot compete in the enterprise market without directory services available for your server-client relationship.
