Westlake Interactive is currently developing demo versions of both Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 and American McGee's Alice for the Mac, according to Inside Mac Games. The demos are expected to be available in the next several weeks. The two games are notable for being among the first commercial games released with Mac OS X compatibility.

    Yup

I never really got interested in any of this skateboard stuff nor the ESPN extreme games but this Tony Hawk game is just amazing and a ton of fun. The only problem is that there is no controller support in OSX yet. I highly recommend it even if you don't know anything about skateboarding like me.

    Back to some nosegrinding...

    Where are the others?

I recently bought both titles and I must say that it is quite refreshing to play them in OS X. The lack of USB controller support in THPS2 is little unnerving, but Alice is definitely a win for the platform.

I just wonder where the deluge of software titles for X are, because this is just a trickle.

    Time go far

I must say that I have spent many hours playing THPS2. And I will spend many more.

It is such an addictive game. Three cheers for westlake!

Yeah tony hawk is good. I've played it on a friends PSone before and it's really cool. But no USB driver support? Is that Apples fault or Westlakes? When ever I plug my joystick into OSX It loads a HID driver or something like that.
