Gefen Inc. has introduced the ex-tend-it CAT5-4000 Matrix, two-by-two switch and extender that is capable of "matrixing" two monitors, two USB connections and two audio sources. The device essentially allows users can work from two separate locations on the same computer simultaneously or independently of each other.

    VNC anyone?

    I guess I must be missing the point. Can't I accomplish the same thing running VNC clients and servers (*free*) using a LAN or even the internet for that matter? Sure beats a 300ft limit. Gosh, and this product only costs $1795.00 for two whole connections. Hyeah,...like this'll sell well.

    RIPOFF

    This company likes to list max cable lengths and make their cheap-a** switchboxes (that look like they are built in Radio Shack hobby boxes) look like some special deal. they insert $15 worth of parts into a box and charge $300 for it. In case anyone hasn't been paying attention, you can buy a 4-way video/USB switchbox for $80 from about 100 different places.
