VRWorx 2.1 gets Carbonization, more

VR Toolbox Inc have released VRWorx 2.1, an upgrade to its authoring suite for QuickTime VR. The update brings Carbonization to the program, meaning it will run in Mac OS X, as well as the ability to use video effects (such as wipes, dissolves and fades) when linking VR "nodes" together. Apple recently started including VRWorx in their educational software packages rather than their own VR Studio. VR Toolbox plans to announce further updates -- and possibly additional products -- at MacWorld San Francisco in January.

The excitement over seeing this web star in person, or else it was the caffeine from that cup of coffee I drank at 9 o'clock last night, kept me awake until Maher came on,
but, alas, I slept through WNN and also late night Perry Mason and I Love Lucy.

Until now, they're just offering a demo, that's all. What kind of news is this...?

    I like 'em

Lots of VR stuff on the darkside that's really cheap
    :-(

Cheap in the 'nasty' sense of the word, too.

Woud be nice if VR Toolbox could output a file readable by a java app. And include the java app. A PC VR app I have used can do that and i's soooooo easy to make a half-decent web page with the VR already embedded - no coding needed.

I'm going to d/l the demo tonight and try and make a VR. If I can, it will be going in my demo-CV. Might be a job for me tomorrow :-)
