    OSX?

Whats the word on a new version of the Carbonized Opera for OSX? The state of web browsers is kinda dismal for osx, but I liked Opera's speed.

dismal browsers for osx? why did you just have to jump to osx? everyone is non stop complaining bout osx. guess no one remembers os7 then 8 and ppc. im gonna give apple a year before i even think about switching to osx. by then it will be tight. then you have this c***...well whyd apple come out with it. to encourage early support and development. they could have waited a year but then you would be bitching non stop "where is it already"? seriously can you be pleased? how bout this. if osx is buggy slow has no programs etc. why did you switch to it. were you stoopid enough to believe apple advertising? didnt you read up on it before changing your mac os TO SOMETHING ENTIRELY F**** NEW? why not? leave the asses to rock the masses. the peecee world would sit bak and laugh but they have so many problems on thier side its ludicrous.

as for opera its a coolbrowser but once in awhile it seems like its barely working or stable like somethings not right. somewhat the feeling of being on a pc. youre not shure when youre going to lose it.

Is it the same Opera we're talking about? Maybe not, but now my new darling's called iCab anyway.

    Spyware or Adware?

Opera is adware, not spyware. People have different opinions on this and Gilles Lalonde (aka Motherdawg) that runs the spyware list linked in the previous post feels that the two are the same. We in Opera do not. We have gone to great lengths do document our privacy policy and ad serving protocols. However, I am an employee of Opera so don't trust me. Read the following links and make up your own opinion:

Also note that the Mac Beta versions of Opera do not even have the advertisement modules.

    A promising start :-)

I used Opera PC for quite a while. Its simply a great app..and I've been looking forward to it and complaining about its slow appearance on the Mac side. It can't get done fast enough in my view! And I'll be happy to register away the ads. Lots of bugs yet to work out though, and gif animation has taken a step backwards from beta 1. Flicker is BAD in this release.

    OS X browsers

I don't think the OS X webbrowsers is dismal at all. OmniWeb works like a charm for me.
