MWNY: Proxim adds new NetLINE gateways, more

Proxim has added new NetLINE Broadband Gateways and a HomeLINE 10Mb USB adapter to its Farallon-brand product line.
Designed for use in homes and small businesses to share high-speed Internet connections, the new NetLINE models include integrated four (4s; $130) and seven-port (7s; $190) 10/100 switches (respectively), supplementing the built-in Ethernet WAN port, web management functions. The gateways also include NAT, DCHP server, PPPoE, DHCP client IDs, IPSec and PPTP pass-through support for remote VPN access as well as advance TCP/UDP port mapping. The new $100 Farallon HomeLINE 10Mb USB Adapter offers instant home networking using existing telephone lines using HomePNA 2.0 technology.
