    It would want to be...

I was given a project to put a DAM online using Canto for one of our clients.
Firstly, the Apple Workgroup edition is not even usable, as proven by canto inGermany who sent us a beta of this release to fix the problem.
After spending many hours elimnating hardware and software, we received a discrete email stating that they(Canto) are aware of the problem and are actively working on it.
Windows platform is fine, as we used this as an interim.
(Also, Our account managers providing guarantees without tesing inhouse is pure stupdity and commision greed)
However, if you can afford it, get Media Manager! NOW.

    Why...

Sorry for being off topic, but why do some of the headlines allow comments to be submitted while others do not?

    re: why?

Depends on the news story. Sometimes comments would be interesting to have, although some things aren't really worthy of having a whole comment thing built up around it. Basically, to answer the question, it's the bigger stories that get comments, although it seems totally random. =)

For example, we will never make the mistake of allowing comments on a Martha Stewart story ever again. ;-)

    cheers,
    neal
