    WAY too little, too late

Premiere sux. Long live Final Cut Pro. Why the h*** aren't they at Macworld like they should be introducing the OSX version of Photoshop......who the heck do they think they are lately? Even GRAPHIC CONVERTER went carbon before they did. Pitiful for a major company to be out-gunned by shareware.

    Perhaps...

it has something to do with Graphic Converter having a smaller code base than Photoshop?

    Adobe Sucks - hope they

go under selling Windows versions of their software.

From Mac-only to catering to the evil Beast from Redmond. Adobe: go to f*****' h***.

Uhh... GraphicConverter is also a heck of a lot SIMPLER than Photoshop. There's a lot to do to Carbonize AND add new features to a big product like Photoshop. Get a life - Mac OS X is brand new. Give developers a chance.

    All the people

dissing Adobe for not yet SHIPPING Photoshop are fucked up. It takes you no time to carbonize Graphic Converter. You think they can do that with Photoshop ?? A $700 app ! They should have, however shown a pre-alpha of the flagship... at least.

    And to those who say « f*** Adobe !! »... f*** you !
Adobe is as essential to the Mac as Apple and Microsoft are ! Can you imaagine if Microsoft stopped producing for the Mac ???? It would be the end. All the people that can't realize that are either 13 years old or very stupid. Wake up and smell the coffee !

    Final Cut Pro...

Rules. If anybody at Adobe had bothered to take a look at it, they would have cancelled Premiere altogether... I can't think of ONE thing Premiere does as well, as simply or as fast as FCP2.
It was nice, it was there first, but they let it languish for way too long. They're the weakest link. Goodbye.

This being said, the astute reader will note that FCP is STILL not Carbonized. So cut Adobe some slack.

Most of PS's codebase is shared between platforms, which Adobe is quite justifiably proud of, there is only a fairly small amount of Mac specific code.

    GKON vs PhotoShop

Uhh... i think the point was that, yes, while GKON has a smaller code base, GKON is a ONE OR TWO PERSON CREW!! Whereas Adobe has HUNDREDS of people employed to work on Photoshop

Thath has *nothing* to do with Carbonizing the product. All of that shared code has to be tweaked to compile correctly too. Come on, very few companies actually have fully OS X-compatible software right now. Give Adobe a chance.
