In Apple's "The Adventure Continues: Tomb Raider: Chronicles Conquers the Mac," Aspyr Media President Michael Rogers notes that the company expects to bring the next-generation of Tomb Raider games to the Mac, which is currently in development and will bring a completely new, modern 3D engine. "We're doing everything we can to ensure that no Mac owner will ever have to go without Lara," says Rogers.

    Awesome!

Now if only they drop support for Windows.

More people use Macs at home than Windows, and you can't play Tomb Raider at work...

    A better 3D engine.

Put a pair of watermelons on a chopstick, and voila! Lara Croft in 3D!

    But what about game sproc

I loved that Chronicles was carbonized for OS X- but... I still reboot in OS 9 because I use my ch fighterstick and couldn't do that yet in OS X- here's hoping we see the game sprockets replacement in July (man- can you believe the wish list OS Xers have for MacWorld NY???- hope Steve delivers- if he does can you imagine the list of new stuff- software and hardware- the keynote will have to be 3 hours long!!!)

    Lara rides again

This is great news. I wish we saw more great games coming to the environment where they look their best. I think I am going to have to at last ditch my Rage Pro and get that Radeon after hearing this.

So quick question for all you mega experienced gamers out there. How much difference with TR-TLR would I see if I got that Radeon now?
