    Hmm...

    I looked into buying this book a few months ago but I was a little turned off when I heard that Jobs claimed it was "a hatchet job" of a biography. Maybe it is worth reading because I am enough of a fanatic.

    Hatchet Job? h*** no.

    No, the book isn't a hatchet job, it is a superb insight into Jobs, his companies, and it is very detailed and has a lot of fascinating information and tidbits.

    The book is about Jobs.... why are you going to listen to his opinion? He is biased. It is like asking an Apple competitor what it thinks about Apple's products - you can't expect an impartial and objective response.... and that includes Jobs' comments.

    Get the book - I rate it a 9 out of 10 as far as quality is concerned.
