Asanté unveils $10,000 grant for K-12 school

Asanté has unveiled its "Network 2 Win" educational grant, which will grant $10,000 to a K-12 school for installing or upgrading its computer network. The upgrade could include upgrading to a wireless network, upgrading the backbone to Gigabit Ethernet, or upgrading libraries and classrooms with fast ethernet switches. Schools that wish to be considered for the grant must submit an application, which are due no later than July 31, 2001. The winner of the grant will be announced on August 15, 2001.
