QuickTime Player Pro will give you the exact time at any point in a mov track, in the "Get Info" window. This can be displayed in real time as the mov is playing, or by using the slider and/or arrow keys for greater precision. The idea of trying to click during play implies considerable inaccuracy, hardly frame- accurate.
