WebEvent comes to Mac OS X

WebEvent has announced Mac OS X compatibility for its suite of Web-based calendaring and scheduling applications. "The Mac environment is well represented in several of our key markets, including education and small- to medium-sized enterprises," said the company's CEO.

They also make a big deal about providing the source code, as if it were some big decision on their part.

Any better calendaring programs out there which do personal and group calendars.
I've looked but haven't found anything.
something in PHP, MySQL, and LDAP authentication would be ideal.

Not saying it's better or worse, but check out X-Cal-Group: http://www.calendarserve.com
It's $150 for unlimited users. WebEvent will cost you about $6000 for the same amount of users.
Has some pretty cool features like custom calendar database fields, full template control over calendar views, multiple language support....you can even switch laguages on the fly. Very slick week-grid view. ...and it is F-A-S-T
