DiamondSoft Font Reserve Server 1.01

DiamondSoft has released Font Reserve Server 1.01, an update to its client/server font-management system that brings automatic backups for system configuration and font databases as well as the ability to work while disconnected from the server.

The updated Font Reserve Server also includes new plug-ins for InDesign and Illustrator, and an updated XTension for QuarkXPress for automatic font activation, collecting fonts for output, and creating font sets from documents. The server is $1,200 plus $130 per client; DiamondSoft is currently offering a 10-user starter pack for $1400 and and a 20-user starter pack for $2600.

    Agreed. It's hard to upgrade when the hardware I'm using is not supported. I've been using FR at my work for years, and we would love to have the server version working on OS X Server, clients on OS X and OS 9 machines.
    Or, doggone it, anything that ran native on OS X.
