Adobe yesterday announced PageMaker 7.0 and Symantec announced OS X versions of its products. Other reports included photos from an Apple Store site in Columbus (OH), strong legal tactics by Apple against OS X theme designers and The Church of Satan, new PowerBook cases from Willow Designs, updated virus definitions for the AS Simpson worm, and Verbatim's 24X CD-R discs. Software updates included Font Reserve 2.6, Plugin Galaxy 1.02, Propellerhead's ReCycle 2.0 "groovemaker," the free RPC Reporter 1.0 security utility, and BBEdit Lite 6.1.1.
