Electronics for Imaging, Inc. (EFI) will unveil its eBeam System 3 digital whiteboard appliance this week at INFOCOMM in Las Vegas, NV. The device, which connects via serial or USB and is both Mac- and PC-compatible, captures notes and diagrams as they are created on whiteboards and broadcasts them over the Internet or corporate intranet in real time. eBeam System 3 is expected to be available in Q3 2001.
