NewTek has released a public beta version of its Shockwave3D exporter for LightWave 3D 6.5. The tool allows users to export LightWave 3D models and scenes into ShockWave3D format for use with Macromedia Director.

8.5 was only released a month ago.
The 3D games are that much more complex, so they're going to have longer development cycles. Without more time, they wouldn't be any good.

No textures and the real suspension is absent. It will move faster once Maxon releases their WDS exporter. 3D Studio Max is a wee bit slow in Virtual PC. :)
