Eudora 5.1b16 is a new version of QUALCOMM's e-mail client for Mac OS X. The new version resizes the toolbar button customization dialog, enables the horizontal zoom button in the Address Book, includes modified settings in "Insert System Configuration", sends inline signatures when threading is turned off, and fixes a dozen bugs.

    still crashes on large IM

this is a lot less crashy than 5.0b14, but still crashes the program any time you synchronize a large IMAP mailbox (downloading messages as well as headers)

too bad, still no reasonable IMAP client for OS X...

    much improved

The latest Eudora OS X beta is a vast improvement from the last one, which was essentially unusable (it was actually far worse than the beta that preceded it). The latest beta has yet to crash on my G4, and all the bugs that were bugging the h*** out of me have been fixed.
