    Are you kidding?

A great deal? Not if you plan to actually use this software for any type of live performance. I have downloaded it in the past and downloaded the new demo today. It subsequently crashed within 5 minutes of use. Basically, this makes it totally USELESS for any real DJ. The features are nice but the makers of this program need to take a cue (no pun intended) from OnTheAir Studio by Intelligent Brodcast Systems, in the stability department. I use this software to do live shows. This program is so stable that I have seen instances where you can deliberately crash your finder and other programs on your mac and OnTheAir will still play and segue songs. It seems that the key to this stability is not relying on Quicktime. If you are really interested in doing live work, check it out.

Also could someone please come out with a software program that will run the Numark PCDJ on the mac? Please? Soon?

    I'm Not Kidding!

I think you better take a look in your system folder what's causing the crash, cause MS is in it's genre the one I think is the most stable (I have tried them all before using MS) and the most user friendly with a nice GUI. I use MS with an iMic as an extra Audio out for my headphones. It's a pitty USB audio is not very good on MacOS so I still need an extra mixing panel to overcome the USB audio delays. And MS price $119 is way better than OnTheAir $495. (BTW The OnTheAir Home version uses QT to play MP3s as well and is only $89)
Read the FAQ about Megaseg on their site, so you know what to expect (NO VBR files for example the quicktime engine plays them very poor, and no mp3 files on a server which causes delays).
Crashes I got with MS can be counted on 1 hand and I'm using it since the very first version.

    Gr, a happy MegaSeg user
