    Hmm....

Not a bad looking bag but I worry about sending money to a guy who seems like he's selling out of the back of his car...

I have one of these bags. Got it last week. He started by selling them on ebay. I bought it with PayPal (which you can do from his website as well) and he shipped it the next day. He had excellent seller feedback on ebay so I think he is a good risk. Besides with PayPal you are somewhat protected.

Anyway, I have had the bag for about a week and am just starting to live with it so it is hard to give a detailed review but so far I love it. It's nice 'cause it doesn't scream laptop (unless you know about the TiBook, then the TiBag label pretty much gives that away). Right now I have my TiBook, an extra battery, headphones, pens and notepaper, and MacWorld magazine in there with some room to spare. I found the cell phone holder a little bulky so I have taken off for now. My phone is tiny so I keep it in my pocket, but I did find the holder useful for holding my sunglasses. The only thing I wish it had but doesn't is a keychain latch. Overall I am very happy with this bag. The second pocket is exactly the size of the TiBook and the bag is very comfortable with the strap worn across the chest like usual or slung over the shoulder for shorter trips to the car and back.

    Older Powerbooks Fit?

Would my 2000 FireWire Powerbook fit in one of these bags?

    Are you a fake Mister?

This message is addressed to the person writing the email above (Reputable.) You are writing this thing like you are the guy on the picture promoting your own c***. Reminds me a guy I knew who was writing his 5 stars reviews on books he sold on Amazon. The bag is just plain bad taste and I don't see how it is different from others. I'd like to understand what the fuss is all about redesigning something that look the same as other bags. Oh, while I am at it, BrentHaven makes cool bags, but then are not "designed" for Apple exclusively.

Re: Are ou a fake Mister?

I am the person who wrote the reputable review and I am not the seller of the bags.

I would like to know what you mean by "bad taste" but I did not buy the bag just because it is labeled for the Mac. I knew I didn't want a standard laptop bag and considered a backpack model but don't really like backpacks so that left me looking for either a courier/messenger bag or one of those aluminum deals. the problem with the aluminum cases is that they were too small and at least twice the price. and once I put my TiBook in them I had no room for anything else. I like this bag because it is just large enough to hold my laptop snugly and hold a few other things I need. Then I can throw it on and run around all day (or RUN to catch a plane) try that with a standard bag, they wear me down.

As for the picture and "selling out of the back of a car" comments you, of course, are justified in your concerns. But I look at it as trying to support someone that is trying to start up a small Mac-friendly business.
