The Wireless Ethernet Compatibility Alliance (WECA) has announced that 138 Wi-Fi certifications have been awarded since March 2000, with over 70 products receiving certification this year. Among the growing list of Wi-Fi products are Apple's AirPort Base Station and AirPort Card, which pioneered wireless access as a standard on notebook computers.
