Canon is now bundling Microtech's pocket-sized ZiO! digital film reader with its Canon S800 Color Bubble Jet Photo Printer. The S800 photo printer outposts high-resolution photos on plain and specialty paper at 2400x1200 dpi. The printer can output a full 8" x 10" color print in approximately two minutes.

    Zio

The Zio is a cool device but unfortunaely requires a powered USB port. You should be able to just plug it into the keyboard, for example. But you can't - and you'll lose the pictures on the card if you try.

    Work for me

I attach the smartcard version to one side of my keyboard and it seems to work fine. I'm using the smartmedia version with a 64 MB olympus card

    Not for me. Hm.

Well, I have one of the Zios, used on a Cube keyboard, doesn't work and they TELL you it won't work. Interesting that yours works. What machine?

    Works on my Cube

Just got the ZIO SmartCard reader this morning and tried it plugged into the keyboard on my Cube. My problem is it only seems to work under OS 9.
