Apple's iMovie and iDVD are PC World columnist Stephen Manes' choices for 'Best Designed Software': "nothing I've tried thus far for Windows matches Apple's Mac-only iMovie."

    PC-centric loser

This guy acts as if it's a BAD thing that the best movie editing software is Mac-only. What's his problem? Does he think Apple is supposed to write iMovie for Windows, so nobody has to buy a Mac? Good idea!

    Couldn't pass up a dig,

In spite of a generally nice review, he still had to kick in his spurs in Apple's side by mentioning that you had to buy the highest priced machine to get Apple's DVD Burner.

    Chill

So what if he mentioned that you have to buy Apple's highest priced machine, it's true. You can't fault Steve for pointing out the obvious. I know Apple will one day have SuperDrives available all over its line but until then, it's a paradox to see a consumer-centric program like iDVD available only for a $3500 pro machine.
If Steve Manes is liking Macs, trust me, the tide has turned in our favor.

    Calls 802.11 "geeks only

Someone should introduce him to AirPort. Between that and iMovie, he may be an Apple convert yet!
