    refused install

Well, I have a blue G3/400 with a 2930U card and it refused to install. Iam the only user and therefore have admin priveleges. The first installer wouldn't work either. Oh well, it reads my external Yamaha CDRW anyway.

Sounds like a unix rights issue, log in as the root and see what happens.

    Sleep Problems

I have a 2906 card and after the install it now logs me out of my account when it sleeps, kill any active processes as it goes...including the window manager...sigh
