icWord 1.2, a $20 application for opening Microsoft Word files with the original formatting preserved, now reads files with Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and other double-byte languages. In addition, the new version adds sound support, footnotes as numbered endnotes, support for Unicode text files, can run in the Classic environment of Mac OS X, and other fixes and improvements.
