Yesterday RAD Game Tools released the Miles Sound System for the Mac. Other reports included Napster's preparations for its pay service, a new 24x10x40 FireWire CD-RW, an update on Tropico, Yellow Dog Linux 2.0 reaching GM, Office 2001: The Missing Manual, and ATI's RADEON roadmap. Software releases included SNES9X 1.3.7, Extension Overload 5.8.3, MailBurst 2.1.3, and Liquid Player Five 5.1.
