Version 6.1.2 adds improved compatibility with a wide variety of FTP servers, improved performance under Mac OS X, and support for previewing HTML documents in OmniWeb, along with various other interface refinements and fixes for reported issues. Yes! OW Support

One step closer to dumping IE for good. Now if only OS X wouldn't change the default browser to IE everytime I reboot.

    My Useless Comment.

I would like to say that BB is good. Damn good. With all of the stuff out there that only sorta works, take this as high praise. Props to Lemke too.

    WebDAV

I wish it did WebDAV. I use this tool with Zope and the server I'm working on will not support FTP.

    WebDAV

Use OS X then. Its WebDAV support isn't perfect, but it works reasonably well. (Just type in a http:// address in "Connect to Server" in the Finder).

    X now settled

With BBEdit, FileMaker, and OmiWeb or iCab, OS X is now ready for prime time -- maybe Adobe will join in some day, before I head to Macromedia. All I need is good jpegs.

    I disagree

GraphicConverter (carbonized of course) might help you out for JPEGs if you are going to go fully native X now.

    It doesn't suck.

In fact, it's excellent, and it pleases me that the BB folks are on the ball with frequent updates and bug fixes.

All it needs now is the ability to save in alternate encodings (ISO-2022, please!) and secure ftp.

    still tops in my book

Well, ready for prime time for web developers, anyway. :)
But it's great to see with all the negative comments that get thrown around at software, there are still developers that seem to solicit almost nothing but praise... Thanks for knowing how to please us Mac users, Bare Bones.
