Kutoka Interactive has announced a new math adventure game for kids ages 6 to 10, Mia: Just in Time! Following on the success of award-winning titles Mia: The Search for Grandma's Remedy and Mia 2: Romaine's New Hat, Mia: Just in Time! offers two CD-ROMs that take Mia on adventures through her fire-consumed backyard to a nearby shed, a mole's underground den, the tree trunk laboratory where the time machine is being assembled, and eventually to the house as it stood before the blaze. Children are asked to solve equations, identify geometric shapes, work with number sequences, and answer various numerical questions cleverly integrated into the plot. Mia: Just in Time! will be available on hybrid (Mac/PC) CDs in August 2001 for $25.
