Tech: AMD Barton; Dell, 3Com axe thousands

Evening tech news: AMD's successor to the Athlon processor, expected to ship in the second half of the year, has been named Barton; Dell will cut another 3,000 to 4,000 jobs in an effort to cut costs (the company slashed 1,700 jobs in February); and 3Com has announced it is cutting 3,000 jobs, or 30 percent of its workforce.

Well this confirms it.. dell is better than apple. no way apple can keep up with the job cuts dell is making. its a new unemplyment gap!
