    Cool!

    Was supposed to be at least a 2 week wait, more like 3-4 weeks. Less than ONE week and there are orders shipping! Sweet Apple

    BTO?

    Probably not BTO orders, though.

    *sigh*

    I'll bet I have a h*** of a wait ahead of me.

    Ordered a iBook, DVDROM, 256MB RAM, 20GB HD, w/ Airport card on the 2nd.

    I really want this thing. Now. Please? NOW! *whimper* Pleeeeeeease?

    *sigh* = get a clue

    Person bitching about speed of BTOs;

    1) order a non BTO
    2) Buy RAM from DataMem.com (way cheaper)
    3) Pick up an Airport card at Circuit City or Comp USA.
    4) Save Money

    Duh.

    3rd party components?

    I realize that these are just now shipping but has anyone heard if possible to purchase 3rd party dvd or dvd/cdrw drives for this rather than getting gouged by Apple's upgrade pricing?

    Sure, but they won't be internal.

    OS X

    It'd be great if those who get it tell us how well they work with OS X. I want to buy one, but I need to make sure they work well with the latest OS.
