Gary Gray has created a new TeX on OS X mailing list mailing list for those "venturing into the bold new world of TeX on OS X. This list will be for discussing anything related to using TeX on Mac OS X, including, but not limited to TeXShop, other ports of TeX, getting BBEdit to work with TeXShop or ports of TeX, rumors and information regarding forthcoming products, drawing and editing figures for use in TeXShop or other ports, font issues, and anything else that sounds interesting. I would be glad to see Scientific WorkPlace ported to Mac OS X.
I think it is by far the best way to write TeX.
